Hi Everyone, Thanks to the committee for dreaming a dream and making it happen! Has it really been 50 years, a whole half-century, since we graduated? Actually, it seems like another life in another time, a world away. Since I just may not be around for the 100th, not that I'm pessimistic, I hope to attend the 50th. My youngest son is awaiting any time to fly to Haiti for the little girl he and his wife are adopting. So for now, that is foremost on our schedule- perhaps, timing will be good for me and I will join you all.....
Fast forward- the reunion is now a year away and what a great opportunity it was to reconnect with both PHS students and those of us who graduated from the Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing- two great reunions!
Benedicte was "rescued" from the Haitian orphanage just before the hurricane hit. She has been with my son, his wife and daughter for a year and is adjusting well. I am very proud of my son who did indeed rescue a child who would have been sold into slavery. Peace and joy to all of my classmates...
